Morning Motivation for Educators

Good morning, friends! Today on my podcast, we're going to dive deep into the power of setting a one-word intention for the year. As we approach the end of 2023 and look ahead to 2024, it's a perfect time to reflect on our experiences and set our sights on what we want to create in the coming year. Before we begin, I encourage you to take a moment to think about the lessons and blessings from the past year. What trials did you face, and what did they teach you? Where did you triumph, and what did you learn from those victories? By acknowledging the highlights and challenges of 2023 and expressing gratitude for them, we can use these experiences as fuel to propel ourselves forward. Now, let's talk about the power of a one-word intention. Personally, I've found tremendous transformation by focusing on a single word throughout the year. In 2021, my word was "connection," and it brought beautiful relationships and friendships into my life. Then, in 2022, my word was "alignment," helping me stay focused on my purpose. Last year, in 2023, my word was "believe," and it guided me through challenges and deepened my faith. Embracing the word "believe" wholeheartedly opened doors for me in unexpected ways. I believed in myself, my family, my business, and my mission. This belief led to new connections, expanded knowledge, and speaking opportunities. It even resulted in miracles in Kenya, as well as a stronger spiritual connection. Of course, there were obstacles on this journey, but holding onto belief allowed me to grow in faith and trust. Reflecting on the power of my word for 2023, I am filled with excitement for what my word for 2024 will bring. And now, I invite you to set your own one-word intention for the upcoming year. What do you desire to improve? How do you want to feel? Who do you want to become? Take the time to write down your intention daily, truly immersing yourself in the emotions associated with your word. Give it a color, a symbol, and maybe even find a theme song that resonates with your intention. The more you invest in this practice, the more powerful it becomes in shaping your year. As for my one-word intention for 2024, I've chosen "fun." I want this year to be filled with joy, laughter, and lightness. I encourage you to come up with your own word and share it with me. Together, let's embark on this journey of growth and joy in 2024. Remember, my friends, you are designed for greatness, and I believe in you.
